First round. One more chance, then we will see. This was not the best First experience. It was a 45-minute wait and the dining area was nearly empty. All that waiting and still turned the food around when it finally hit the table. UPDATE: Second round. Almost a total failure again. After another 45-minute wait for our meal and appetizer, the place was hardly busy. Understaffed, poorly managed to say the least. They were out of salad before noon. When our main plates finally hit the table we still had not seen the appetizer, so that was canceled. Asked for split plates for the kids and got a mess. On a good note, the food was delicious once we started munching through the pile. Oh well maybe on the 3rd try, we may have a good experience. UP-UPDATE: 3rd round and Yes it was a good one the Clam Chowder is amazing and the Fish N Chips are a nice thick double portion of Catfish. Total redemption from previous rounds. Well done Bravo.

We are from Kansas City and it’s hard to find a good BBQ place here in town. For Sparks and North Reno this is the best place we have tried. The ribs were good, the brisket isn’t KC style but it’s delicious, moist, and tender! The Mac n Cheese with meat on top was decadent and also fantastic. I liked the little cornbread with the sugar butter. The beans were tasty too, a lot of places forget to make good sides. However, the sides here were great! The coleslaw was creamy. The spinach dip had a good garlic cheesy flavor. The chili was meaty and thick. The services was nice. The place was clean and well styled inside.

Heff is an honest owner with a heart for good food, and the food is absolutely delicious and homemade... The Phoenix establishment has everything you could possibly want, and all your needs are met from customer service to good homemade food. None of that government garbage food but truly real authentic of God food. This gem of an establishment is worth every penny you can muster. Very affordable, so we got the motherlode, and it was only $20-$30 at most, and that dish will feed an entire baseball team. Chandeliers are in the women's bathroom!!! Need I say more? The bathrooms feel more like an office and are extremely clean. Wine tasting and a center stage where bands can play music like a mini concert. Plenty of seating and very comfortable chairs plus outside dining with plenty of shade and trees and umbrellas for shade all day long. Wheelchair accessibility is available. Very classy yet retro and modern all in one in this Gem in Sparks Nevada at the Legends complex. Please visit this place and come eat REAL FOOD... Thank you, Heff... I know you will read this, and I want you to know that your service today was exactly what my brother needed today. You never know what tragedy someone might be going through, and you have truly made my brother very happy... I can't say what happened, but just know you made us feel like home papa Heff with a good homemade meal. Phoenix restaurant is like home away from home... God bless you and your staff...

This is the first time that we have been here. Came here for my 61st birthday. Bbq wings are the best I have ever had. Service was excellent and the atmosphere was also excellent. This is by far, my new favorite place to go to now. Thank you for a memorable birthday [ July 27 ].

Wonderful welcoming atmosphere with delicious food! The staff and location are amazing. We had two families in our group, traveling thru...we will come back just to eat here! Amazing menu, something for everyone. Staff are the best around! Enjoy it!

Omg when I say their cornbread was amazing !!! I am a cornbread snob lol . The BBQ is amazing and their Mac & cheese I got was delicious , next time I will try the Mac & Cheese with brisket on top as suggested. I tried them at the nugget rib cook off. Give them a try, their customer service was amazing I will be back to try them out in person. I will be back

Great service, delicious food. Lunch time wasn't busy, and there were many families with children of all ages. The kids' menu was perfect for any kids 10 yrs and under. Perfect cocktails from the bar, the appetizer options are good for one or many to enjoy. The giant burgers are very juicy, and they have a great char flavor with many options. All the meats are very tender and smoked perfectly. We look forward to returning to enjoy the live music from 6:30-9p.

My sister came to visit and our waitress convinced us to almost try EVERYTHING ON THE MENU!!! so glad she did everything was amazing an loved her especially! Always nice when you have a personable waitress!
